LET'S GET QUIZZICAL

Who fancies a distraction from rolling news? Us too. Today we launch not one but (count them!) TWO whole quizzes! First up, and in a nod to some of Brum's best venues whose doors aren't open quite as we know just now, is our first ever logo quiz. Honestly? You're going to hate it. Restaurants, bars, cultural venues, historical attractions, street food traders, shops, they're all represented below, but with a word, or words removed. All you need to do is name all 30. Fire up Zoom/House Party/Whatsapp/What the cool kids are using and get a group of bona fide Brum nerds on the case, because it's trickier than Taiwanese trigonometry.

The first person (or team) to email all 30 correct answers to tom@ichoosebirmingham.com will receive 4 x Mr Egg pin badges. We won't be able to reply to all emails, just the winner. Good luck.

QUIZ II: QUIZ HARDER

Meanwhile, on our Instagram Live feed, at 8pm tonight, we hand the keys, and our reputation, to quiz impresarios Ben Kane and Andy Lawn. Ben is one half of Birmingham's Bingo Ballers, while Andy is both halves of, erm, Andy Lawn. Andy's like the Richard Osman to Ben's Alexander Armstrong, if Alexander Armstrong caught the 50 bus and was afraid of jam. Anyway, don't expect your standard pub quiz. This is direct from the batshit school of escapism quizzing. Knowledge of Brum will help, as will an ability to take none of it seriously. You've been warned.
Punks & Chancers have launched a new  'Housebound Booze Hound' tee, for £25
Rob Wood of 18/81 fame has launched Zoom cocktail making classes using nothing more than pantry items. It's £75 for a 90 minute (minimum) class. Details
Provide have launched a new set of prints including an 'It's Going To Be Alright, Bab' number. They cost £20 for all three with half of that going to local charities.
200 Degrees Coffee are delivering 'joe' to your door at £8 a bag and currently there's 20% for the first two months. Use the code "DRINKATHOME".
Download Dave's Birmingham colouring in sheets (£3) and let the zen wash over you. Good old Dave.

Finchy: When he asked the question "who is the Cuban leader who has been in power since 1959?" Tell them what you said...
David Brent: Fray Bentos
