Day (and Night) of the Dead
DJs and din-dins are Digbeth-bound
Diaries ready? Pens out? Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of October. A special Halloween weekender all organised by the brilliantly, beautifully manicured hands of Night & Day markets and the Hare & Hounds.
Expect a blooming great volley of music, entertainment, arts, liquor, ales and street food. For one weekend The Bond in Digbeth will be transformed into a Day of the Dead-themed wonderland playing host to top DJ’s Craig Charles on the Friday and Joey Negro on the Saturday. Sam Redmore, Bostin Brass (Live), The Great Outdoors DJs, Moodfix DJs and Leftfoot DJs will also be playing across the weekend. That's a lot of DJs.
Add to that the culinary capabilities of The Bournville Waffle Company, Buddha Belly, Baked in Brick, Meat Shack, Cake Doctor and Cafe Horchata, and you have a bona fide not-to-be-missed event. Hence that convoluted "diaries out" intro.
Also on site will be a raft of market stalls from vintage to local food producers lining the canal basin, and there'll be a selection of specialised bars offering booziness and non-booziness, in equal measure.
Friday and Saturday tickets are priced at £15, with weekend tickets £25. Purchase
